Conflict Mitigation Framework and Conflict Detection in O-RAN Near-RT RIC

چکیده
The steady evolution of the Open RAN concept sheds light on xApps and their potential use cases in O-RANcompliant deployments. There are several areas where can be used that being widely investigated, but issue mitigating conflicts between xApp decisions requires further in-depth investigation. This article defines a conflict mitigation framework (CMF) built into existing O-RAN architecture; it enables Conflict Mitigation component O-RAN's Near- Real-Time Intelligent Controller (Near-RT RIC) to detect resolve all types defined Alliance's technical specifications. Methods for detecting each type defined, including message flows Near-RT RIC components. suitability proposed CMF is proven with simulation an network. Results show enabling allows balancing network control capabilities conflicting significantly improve performance, small negative impact its reliability. It concluded defining unified first step towards providing standardized method detection resolution environments.

In distributed database systems, immediate global consistency of replicated data can be achieved by distributed commit protocols that are typically unpredictable. If real-time characteristics are necessary, such unpredictability has to be avoided. In a distributed realtime database, optimistic replication can be used to avoid unpredictable delays by allowing transactions to commit locally. The ...
متن کاملConflict and Conflict Management
Conflict cannot be avoided since it is an inevitable aspect of work teams. Conflict may be defined as a struggle or contest between people with opposing needs, ideas, beliefs, values, or goals. Conflict on teams is inevitable; however, the results of conflict are not predetermined. Conflict might escalate and lead to nonproductive results, or conflict can be beneficially resolved and lead to qu...
متن کاملConflict and Conflict Management in Construction
While the adversarial nature of construction is frequently cited in the construction press only a few researchers have investigated conflict within the construction industry. Due to the interdisciplinary construction environment, which inevitably results in clashes of interest, the uses of conflict and recovery from conflict must be a subject of real interest, yet construction management resear...

Though still existent traditional state propaganda as characteristic during the World Wars (see Lasswell, 1927; Knightly, 1975; and chapters 2 and 4 of this volume) has been partly delegated to professional PR agencies in recent conflicts (Kunczik, 1990). During both the Gulf War (MacAlthur, 1992) and the Bosnia conflict (Beham. 1996), the role of PR agencies became so massive, and filters used...
